This spinx haunts the grounds of dilapidated castle found outside of the Dead Lands; many adventurers have travelled to investigate this location, but of the few that returned, none could recount their experience.
For those brave enough to explore the castle, they may hear the faint clinking of chains echoing throughout the cracked and broken halls. Weary travelers that collapse on the castle grounds may wake up in one of the many rooms, worn from age but clean and welcoming. Someone or something will have tucked them in the bed after tending to their wounds, a jug of water and a small plate of fruit sitting on a table next to them.
If one is determined enough, they may find a portrait with a nameplate worn and faded. The chain-wearing spinx will silently sit beside the visitor, head tilted slightly as though they were trying to read the name.
Do not step foot on the castle grounds with hostile intent. You may never leave if you do.
