Prince Malus Mancinella is a handsome, stunning, brave, kind, and charming prince hailing from a distant midieval fantasy kingdom. Sent to Mahou Wando to establish himself, find a new castle, and spread the glory of his kingdom and people, he's enrolled in school and entered an alliance with other students to make a name for himself and offer his dashing hero services to anyone in need. Currently single and looking for a 15-17 year old knight-free maiden~!
In a chance meeting, Malus found that a distant member of his bloodline resided in Mahou Wando as well! A family-before-all individual, Malus has preoccupied himself with being her friend and royal errand boy, dividing his time between helping her, helping the needy, swashbuckling with the Alliance club at school, studying the dark arts, and, of course, pre-planning his fairytale wedding.
- Malus has a natural affinity for dark magick, and absorbs dark creations like poisons, curses, potions, and hexes like a battery.
- His wand is the hilt of his trusty apple dagger!
- He speaks in broken faux old english, despite no one else in his family doing so. He is also dyslexic and eats a primarily plant-forward diet.
- In his realm he is more people-shaped and considered a Disney-esqe handsome lad.

- Malus hails from the kingdom with a thousand titles, and it's referred to as Manchineel, Manzanilla, etc. It's an Afro-Spanish region filled with lush orchards and every resident is named after apples. Malus's surname is based on the Manchineel, a toxic fruit tree.
- His bloodline has ruled the kingdom for three generations thus far as a result of an extremely hostile takeover. His grandmother was an evil sorceress that struck down her sibling, a princess next in line for the throne. The kingdom became shrouded in dark magick and wicked sorcery, and the Mancinella royal castle is entrenched in a forest of poison apple trees and thorns. Strangely, though, the "wicked" family has reformed the kingdom considerably, and the prosperity of its subjects under "new management" has made the new ruling family beloved figures over time.
- Malus's mother is the current reigning queen after ousting her senile kooky witch of a mother out of the position. Refusing to give up her spot on the throne to any spouse but needing an heir, she created Malus using a highly dangerous dark ritual. Born out of a cursed black cauldron, Malus was a being of concentrated darkness--fated to be a dangerous and wicked boy that would grow powerful enough to be a formidable foe. The Queen, an icy woman with no love in her heart for anything, adored her "wicked" son, and raised him to be a good and kind boy in spite of how he was conceived.
- He himself, through the sheer amount of love and adoration his mother and his subjects have for him, seems to have mostly offset any fated curse and became a young hero for his people. A gung-ho slayer of dragons and woo-er of maidens, he only started showing signs of "dark inclinations" after a series of well-intentioned overzealous actions began to put his subjects and himself in danger. Fearing for his safety and the stability of their kingdom, his mother reluctantly and agonizingly commanded him to go to Mahou Wando and spread word of his mighty family and kingdom. He dutiflly did as he was told, not realizing that the magick key he held in hand would only be granting him a one-way trip.
- HEAVY NOTE: Malus was created to be a very low empathy character, and may display traits akin to someone with an EDD (Empathy Deficient Disorder) or autism. He was only created to have low empathy, but if anyone on the spectrum wishes to hc him as such, that is fine. Just know that CANONICALLY it is unintentional and his story isn't supposed to an allistic's epic allegorical hot take on autism.

Despite his thirst for adventure and duty to his beloved mummee, Malus immediately found himself plagued with homesickness upon coming to Mahou Wando. This was alleviated when he discovered that he had FAMILY there! And there's nothing on earth more important to this boy than family!
Attending her wedding and becoming enamored by her love of creachers and The Animale Crossing, Malus barely knows a thing about Weiss but would go the ends of the earth for her if she so much as suggested the idea. He hopes to one day be as lucky as her and find True and Honest love someday~!
Her Royal Highness Queen Hippomane Mancinella
BELOVED MUMMEE
Queen Hippomane is a dark and severe queen that rules her kingdom with an iron fist. A well intentioned iron fist laced with thorns and black magick, of course, and Malus will always be his mother's #1 fan. Insulting his mother is akin to stabbing him in the heart, and he will not hesitate to lash out at anyone that DARES not treat his mummee with the fear and respect she deserves!
Their relationship is odd--it's strange to regard ones child as a being of evil yet love and adore them so unconditionally. He is the only person in the world that she cares about emotionally, and it devastated her to have to send him to another realm for his safety.

TRUSTED ALLIANCE LEADERE!!
Malus joined the Alliance on accident, initially hesitating to consider himself a fully-fledged member due to his duties to his kingdom. However, after a messy bout in a scary dark castle and witnessing the kindness and fellowship of his fellow members, he's become a lot more open and willing to helping out and being a part of whatever the Captain has planned!
Relatively unaware of EuroB's intentions, he sees them as a funny-shaped but charming and dedicated leader that has many of the loud, enterprising ideas that his wackadoo crazy sorcerer grandmother does. It's a bit of a weird comparison, to be sure, but Malus thinks it's interesting!
