Rudy

Introduction

Rudy was the second hyena character added to my aresenal after discovering how much I truely love hyenas. Originally he was an adopted character named Lucky from a good friend of mine LankyLunatic, I changed his name to Rudy wanting a more human name for a more personal connection. While Frenzy embodies my my mental state, Rudy embodies who I am in real life. A big talker, an occasional know-it-all, and an all round laid back persona, Rudy takes on not just who I am but who I want to continue being, my values, goals and beliefs.

Character Summary

Rudy features a whacky colour scheme of grey, white, orange and yellow. Swirls and spots snake over his torso and limbs and his eyes shine brilliant orange. I never intended for any real world products such as plushies to be made for him so his design just stayed wild. The only thing I adapted from the original adopt was his hair and teeth because I cant draw characters without outrageous hair and gigantic chompers.

Backstory

Rudy has featured non cannon in lots of my fictional worlds but really deserves his own world to shine. He doesn't possess any magical or paranormal abilities nor is he some pyscho monster killer - and so I am developing a backstory and world for him to feature in that is much less hostile than the rest of my worlds. (I will attach written works as and when I get round to finalising them.)

Trivia

Rudy shares his name with my first car. After my first car unfortunatly broke down and had to be sold, I passed the name onto this character once I started drawing him and designing his personality.

I almost merged Rudy and Frenzy together as one character, but at the last second scrapped the idea and used the two of them instead to represent my two different personalities.
