Avira lives in a town a few minutes train-ride from Splatsville, not one for the city hype despite the amazing shots she gets there at night. She hopes to one day capture a specter on camera, but doesn't publically voice this hope.

Snaps of Life

An artist, Avira first started off with digital media before finding her love for photography. She lived a simple life as a child, always drawing and creating in one way or another. She excelled in her creative courses in school as well as the more technicaly courses, enjoying math as much as she did art. Her parents pressed her to go after a degree such as a doctor, a lawyer, anything big and fancy - her grades would take her there and hopefully scholarships would give her the money to pursue those goals.

They were disappointed to say the least when she pursued an art degree, shifting from traditional media, to digital, and then making the jump to photography. She found her calling and quickly caught attention in gallery shows with her eerie lighting and sharp angles of old, crumbling buildings and human remains.

Stepping Out

It took a while to actually make a living from her photos, having to pick up odd jobs to pay her rent, but after a while she found the paycheck from her pictures getting bigger - especially after finding a solid agent to work with.

Avira's apartment in her town is quant, the walls plastered in her work, books lining shelves regarding the old and decrepit areas around the region as well as ghost stories. She's a fan of horror movies, collecting them along with her books. Her cute floral attire and home along with stories of murder and betrayal is a sharp contrast that she enjoys.

If you happen to spot a ghostly little figure snapping pictures late at night in an empty warehouse, it's not a ghost, but Avira.
