Venilia Nautia
Venilia is a traveler and a huntress who usually avoids humans if possible. One fateful day she got captured by pirates, and one of the crew members named Ondine was told to kill her. Ondine refused, which in turn made the pirates throw her overboard. Ondine hit her head and lost consciousness, but Venilia saved Ondine in return. The two found out they had a lot in common, and it didn't take long until the two fell in love.

Trivia
- Venilia's favourite colour is wine red.
- Venilia's favourite flowers are rose and magnolia. She's very interested in nature on land.
- Venilia is an old character of mine who has gone through two redesigns. She was originally created in 2016. Note that in some drawings her design is outdated, the description will mention if they are.
- Venilia has both gills and lungs, so being on land or above the surface isn't dangerous to her. It's dangerous if she's dry for too long though, and she's not very agile on land if she's in her true form.
- She loves eating fish and kelp.
- She loves striped marlins (as friends, not food).
- She is able to make magic potions. They can, for example, turn a human into a mermaid, or vice versa. There's a difference depending on the user's original species – if a merperson drinks the potion, they will be a human for a limited time, and then return to their original form. If a human drinks the potion, they'll be permanently a merperson when they're wet and turn into a human when they're dry.
