Aayla was born on Mandalore in the time where things were peaceful and calm and grew up among the people. She was a teen when Mandalore was taken over and the war happened, and she managed to escape by sneaking onto a parting ship. She arrived on Naboo, and this was where some other Mandalorians found her and trained her under the creed as a foundling.
When she was old enough, she departed as a bounty hunter and spent the majority of her years doing work as an assassin. It didn't matter who she was working for, whether for the Dark or Light side....
