Astral was an experiment to Likenberg and never really knew family love or any kindness. She was treated like a freakshow at oprhanage as a babe. As a toddler she suffered lots of bullying and under Likenbergs care she suffered in many ways. Mental and physical torture were everyday occurence to her. Only thing keeping her mildly sane was Project and occassionally when Doctor visited. She tried to ask for help but was punished for it. She doesnt talk, shes very fearful and shy. She is scared of sharp objects and loud places. Very sensitive to sudden movements and easily spooked.

Childhood

She was in orphanage from ages 0-5. She never liked it there, she was never presented as adoptable child. Caretakers neglected her and she learned that she was unwanted, not needed at all. One day she was meeting a man, with a white coat. He took interest in her, showed kindness and gave her sweets. She thought she was finally gonna be happy. She never knew she was sold from one awful place to an even more horrible place. A Laboratory that Likenberg ran his research on. White walls, many different cages and rooms. She got one of her own rooms. She was happy as long as Likenberg showd his good side but it didnt last long... He was cruel and smiled while cutting her and proping her with needles.

Comfort

Likenberg had found another orphan and as soon as they met eyes they knew they were fated to each others. Soulmates. This revelation excited the science man and his tortures extended to both of them qually or even more cruelly. Hurting one if other disobeyed or both. He didn't seem to make sense in it. But Astral and Project were inseparable. They needed each others for the little comfort they could have in the hellhole.. They also tried to harden themselves, show Likenberg he can't hurt them. But they were just kids... Kids who cared and who were hurt. Astral stopped talking early on and only could whisper something to Project and neither really showed any emotions on their faces after while.. but when they were around 17 of age..

Escape

Likenberg had had enough of Projects defiancy. Astral could only watch as the horror unfolded infront of her and it left her scarred. After Project died pretty soon after that he became a remnant. But Astral never recovered. She screamed, flailed, seized. She was suffering at every woken minute so Project took control over her body, forcing her to sleep blissfully. He broke them both free from the laboratory and when Likenberg would findout about this escape they would be far away. Since Remnant cant communicate with other spirits and Astral is unconscious, Project took her to woods and they are wandering about. Lost and hungry, they steal food they can find and if they come across other spirits they will run. Astral hasn't been seen since but it doesnt matter to her.. No one but orphanage, Doctor and Likenberg knew about her existence in the first place...
