Info (some things subject to change):

• cool fencer lady!!! elegant, yet fierce
  • lowkey going to be based on one of my first fighting game mains/video game husbands Raphael Sorel lmao. he's the reason why I love fencer characters okay
• chivalrous knight vibes?
  • mercenary/bodyguard???
    • I like the idea that she often gets hired to protect princesses and noble daughters by those who do not trust even a hired man around their girls
      • doesn't get male clients as much because ~sexism~ and they don't trust a lady being strong enough to protect them
      • the queens and noble moms really be trusting a small literal fox over some big strong man to protect their daughters 
• either Soirée or Soleil for name? (or possible full name of "Soiree du Soleil"?? (meaning: sun's soiree/soiree of the sun?)
  • soiree = "a fancy evening affair" and what is this design based on? a fancy tea cup that one may find at such a party
    • soiree also sounds like epee, which is appropriate here because fencing lol
  • soleil = sun. I just like giving my ocs names associated with the sun or literally having "sol" in them lol. their golden fur is reminiscent of the sun though!

• I like the idea that in her world setting, she's just a normal ass fox sized fox, but with a Sword. think Puss in Boots
  • anatomy wise she's very much animal standing on two legs more than humanoid body type anthro
• very big on tea!
  • a lot of her clients have been noble ladies who know how to brew tea and bake tasty treats and so this resulted in Soiree's fondness for it!
    • a lot of them just be treating her to a nice cup of tea and treats as thanks for her protection
      • a good amount though were surprised she even enjoys such things because she’s a fox
  • is a "purist" and prefers tea without added milk/sugar 
    • but would drink it with lemon on occasion, especially on hot days!
  • has refined taste and can tell when a pot of tea has been brewed well (steeping time, temperature, quality of leaves)
• really enjoys bread
  • fresh homemade bread with homemade butter, jam, or cheese!!!
    • she especially likes fig jam
  • will eat any kind of bread tbh, not very picky about it and is very grateful for any food she is given
    • but does have a fondness for the classic baguette
• spends /a lot/ of time training
  • she's more competitive than she'd like to admit and hates losing any fight, so she dedicates as much time as she can to honing her skills
    • has had some pretty bad and embarrassing losses in the past, including the death of a client she had to protect, so she wants to prevent such a thing from happening again
    • she also feels like she has to prove herself as both a fox and a lady
  • will always offer to do errands involving heavy lifting and moving things around because she sees it as an opportunity to train while also being helpful!
    • but some people 100% take advantage of this and will really work her
• likes to collect hair accessories
  • especially hair clips/claws/pins because she likes to keep her hair up!
  • fond of floral designs
• gets underestimated by a lot of opponents because they see small fox girl and think she's weak
  • but Soiree is actually very quick and dangerous!
    • she is a fast fox indeed
    • her being small makes it harder to hit her lmao
      • visualization of what it's like to fight Soiree
  • she can't take many hits though and landing a single really strong blow on her can possibly win you the fight
    • she doesn't like wearing armor as she finds it more hindering than helpful
      • she trained her agility and ability to dodge things to make up for her lack of defense
• actually pretty skilled in hand-to-hand combat
  • Soiree likes to be very prepared and there are times in which she needs to be able to defend her client with her paws in the cases where there's no time to draw sword/she's disarmed
  • she's got claws and teeth and is 100% willing to use them like an Animal in order to protect her clients
  • at least one incident of her getting her jaws around the opponents neck and biting down juuuuusstt enough to make them give up attacking
    • did this to another lady fencer once and it was Toxic Yuri
      
• fighting style involves targeting weak points and disabling the enemy
  • soiree lacks physical strength, so she doesn't try to overcome opponents with brawn and instead focuses on incapacitating her opponent
  • in a video game, her stats is like mid strength, but high crit rate and agility
