Mimikk Yuu

Like most dwarves born and raised in Tomra before the flood, Mimikk was a miner by trade, and, like so many unfortunates before her contracted the deadly stoneblight in her line of work. With no known cure to such a contagious disease she was resigned to her fate in the blightwarrens, and that may very well have been the end of her tale were it not for the dwarf Lamitt who had taken it upon herself to find a cure in lands unknown. Instead of being hailed as a hero for curing stoneblight Lamitt was exiled for breaking tradition, and Mimikk followed suit alongside those who were also cured to strike out into the world outside their tiny village but unfortunately found herself rather lost without her village's traditions (or anyone for that matter) to point her in a direction.

She traveled all over Norvrandt for a time in search of a new calling, from Voeburt to Lakeland to the Rak'tika Greatwood, before eventually settling into the familiarity of a mining town known as Twine to return to her trade as a miner. It was here that she intended to live out the rest of her days, using dwarven mining techniques to unearth sought after ores and selling it in Nabaath Areng. It was on one such trip to the city that the flood began, and by all rights should have been what lead to her end as the flood of light swallowed everything in its path.

Instead of perishing- or worse, becoming a sineater- Mimikk awoke to find herself alone in the wilderness of a wholly unfamiliar place. A place that seemed, at first glance, not unlike her home region of Kholusia. Lost and confused, she was found by a viera who helped her get her bearings and eventually lead her to the city-state of Limsa Lominsa. Half-believing this all to be a dream, Mimikk eventually picked up the axe after finding it to be not unlike a pickaxe and falling into the ranks of the marauder's guild, going where bid to solve some problem that popped up.
