Hawkkit, Merlinkit, and Kitekit were born to Stoatfoot and Stoneleaf. They were all strong, healthy kits, and were ready to be made apprentices by the time they could walk. The three siblings were incredibly close, and shared everything with each other. They were all made warriors together, and lived their lives to the fullest. Five moons after Kitepaw had become Kiteflutter, she, Merlinpool, and Stoatfoot were off on a walk together when a badger attacked. Kiteflutter and Merlinpool were both injured, and watched in horror as Stoatfoot was ripped to shreds. Hawkheart blamed his sisters for their mother's death, and within an hour, the family shattered into pieces. Stoneleaf continuously attempts to get the three to talk to each other, but Kiteflutter simply lies to him and says that she’ll talk to them later.
