Prince Erebus

Bio:

A creature who was assumed by his background and what he was capable of as a threat even Empress Andromeda would turn away in distrust at the very sight of him.

He was the son of Discord and King Sombra however many ponies thought that he was created by Andromeda as the result of herself falling out with the king of shadows and in retaliation using her magic to create a child of her and King Sombra however this wasn’t true.

In fact his true origin was in fact hidden in as much mystery and darkness as his very soul.

Trying to gain the trust of the ponies of the Equestrian Empire first he needed to gain Andromeda’s trust which meant hiding who his true parents were as he knew that if Andromeda found out that Discord had an affair with her very crush himself she would no doubtingly publicly execute him, so instead to build up her trust he fabricated a story that he was in fact the son of Empress Andromeda and King Sombra and as the only known current heir to the Equestrian throne.

Though even then Empress Andromeda never really fully trusted him and always kept an eye on him as the so called God Of Shadows could most very likely backstab her and as one of the very few who could truly kill her she always remained vigilant.
