Status

A young woman with an insatiable wanderlust, Blake is a trainer bent on discovering the secrets of the world and befriending all she meets as she continues along on her journey.

Blake tends to be a very upbeat person, rarely seen without a smile and almost sickeningly optimistic about life. Its clear she cares deeply about her friend and her Pokemon, often offering herself up to shield them from dangers she blames herself for, such as encounters with Regigigas and Groudon where she sought to sheild her pokemon from the legendaries rampages. She isn't the biggest fan of battles, but knows her pokemon enjoy it. As a result, she usually lets them pick their own fights, including Gym fights.

People often see Blake as a somewhat slow, naive young girl with little expereince due to her cheer. This a grave mistake, however, as Blake is a very expereinced Trainer despite the short amount of time she has spent out in the world comparred to others. She has a very open and strong heart that allows her to connect easily with others, and a wit and insticnt that easily renders her dangerous as an opponent. Blake also has a powerful ability to empahtize with pokemon, forming bonds with them easier than most, and almost understanding them. When thretend, Blake is not afraid to take a stand and get serious, and proves to be extremely dangerous while doing so. She chooses to put on her face as this is the person she wants the world to see, the kind and open person she wants to be seen as as opposed to simply being eyed for her skills. Her strength and kindness have been proven time and time again in her encounters with the weakest of pidgeys to the grand battles with Legendaries such as Entei.

Overview

A young woman with an indomitable will and need to explore, Blake left home as soon as she was given the chance in order to further explore the world around her. Born in Dewford, Blake loved her home, but always felt rather restricted. she kept herself entertained by stories of myth and legend, and found herself fascinated with rumors and stories, and this was a fascination that stayed with her for a great majority of her life. She now takes every opportunity she can to investigate these stories and rumors herself, hoping to adventure and uncover mysteries of the world. Part of Blake's desires to explore stems from an encounter with a Latios when she was much younger, and he desire to possibly meet him again one day.
