"Where there is light, there is darkness, and lightning in between"
As part of project StormChaser (an incredibly risky ambition to produce an unlimited source of electricity), Midnight is in charge of collecting lightning to charge the project. Since it's mostly in development, a lot of experimentation is needed in order to complete the project. She is an essential part of the project because without her, no one in the clan is able to get electricity, as it will fry them to crisp when near. Thanks to her think hide and strength, she is protected from the force of the lightning itself.
