Melody was always a quiet and sweet girl. She did perfectly in school, she had plenty of friends, and she was loved by most who knew her. So, what was the problem?
Melody met a young looking girl on a trip to the forest near her home. She could tell the young girl was both surprised and a bit nervous that Melody was there, but Melody only waved at her. And so, she made a new friend. A young Angelite named Solace. That small trip to the forest changed Melody's entire life. Everything made sense suddenly. Small things that happened to Melody here and there were confusing, but not anything big enough to change her life. But with this discovery, it all clicked. Her father never spoke about Melody's mother, why? She was an angel! Melody was an untrained Angelite, yet even without training she seemed to have unlocked some piece of power. There were things in that forest she had never noticed before, but after Solace helped her understand her power a bit better, she could see the mysteries that lied within. It unlocked far more in here than they though. Thus. Althea was born.
Lavender burst • Melody releases a burst of light and smell, completely covering her opponet. The smell makes them sleepy and makes them put their guard down. Depending on her opponets sense of smell, they'll be more sleepy, or less. Can also be used to put people to sleep normally.
Voice expansion • Using her microphone Melody creates a burst of her voice. She can change the microphone to different settings to have different effects. There are as follows- Voice mimic, Voice explosion, Voice rest, Voice reset. Voice mimic does as it's name suggests, she can mimic others voices. Voice explosion happens when she sings into the microphone, it makes sonic waves that flow out from around her, damaging those who are hit by it. Voice rest heals up those who hear it. Voice reset starts the charge up of her magical abilities.
Pastel slash • Melody can create pastel blades out of thin air and can weild them at will. As long as she can hear or see, she can control her blades. Once they hit something, they stay unless Melody recalls them. She can also use them to feel around her enviorment to check out for any surprises that may occur.
Melody is your normal 19 year old girl. She attends her college of choice for performing arts, and she excells in all her studies. She's kind, sweet, and funny to boot. She seems as if she has the world in her hands. So why is it she's always disappearing when she gets this flustered look on her face?
Welcome to the fantastic world of Melody, or your local Magical girl, Althea!
Before becoming Magical!
Melody was born just at sunset, the colorful clouds turning from blue to pinks and purples as the sun set down on that wonderful day. It was as if the colors sunk into Melody themselves, the sky blessing her with the soft reflection onto her small face. From the very beginning Melody was a blessing on those around her. Her early years weren't completely like others though. Yes, Melody was sweet, she was wonderful but she was also... A young girl. So just like other kids, she cried, she threw tantrums, and she whined her head off. But it was never too much for her single father to handle. Her childhood was happy. Filled with sweet dreams and love from her friends and family, the young girl grew up into a sweet teenager. Yet again, she was not without her faults. She would get mad, cry, and get super sad when things went wrong. The charm about her was how she kept her head up even if she was upset or frustrated. She worked tirelessly every single day to bring light into her world, for herself and for others. Except for those days when she just curled up in bed on her phone and just read webcomics.
Yes, Melody was exceptional. Exceptional and still just a young girl of 18. Some days she just wanted to quit college and live in her cute pastel cave of a room. A dream of cuddling with her cat and watching her favorite shows or yubtubers while relaxing without a single worry was her goal. She wanted to become so succsesful that she could do that everyday and never worry. Unfortunately, a week before she turned 19 she met a young girl in the forest near her home, and she changed everything.
Becoming Magical!
Melody often got dressed up in her coziest pastel hoodie and a soft matching skirt to boot, with soft socks and her favorite shoes to explore the forest near her home. Her cat, Himi, would go on a leash with her and walk around to keep her company. Melody swore that Himi was half dog. So, one day, when she went further and further into the forest to clear her head after a fight with her best friend, she saw a young girl. She looked shocked to see Melody there, but after some time the girl was smiling and laughing with Melody all the same. The young girl introduced herself as Solace, an Angelite in training. Melody somewhat laughed her off, because, how could she have met an Angelite? When Solace didn't laugh with her, she realized that it was no joke. Solace explained her mother cast magic on that forest so only pure souls, Angelite, gods, goddesses, all the same, could enter there. After a bit more explanation the girls agreed that Melody was an Angelite as well, or at least half Angelite.
Melody spent so much time in that forest she wasn't even sure if she should live back at her home. Her days were filled with college, some friends, and then... Angelite time! Solace introduced her to her best friend, Sunshine. Melody introduced herself and about died in shock finding out that Solace was 134 and Sunshine was 163. She explained that she was only 19 and the pair were equally as shocked. But what could you do, change your mortality? Uhh. Yeah! If you try hard enough, it's completely possible for an Angelite to change their mortality. But it would take time, and that's if Melody even wanted to. That wouldn't be her first thought for much longer though, as she discovers her new powers, and abilities. It's not long before a big bad villain attacks our local Magical Girl, sensing her awakened powers. And this, my friends, is how Melody became Althea!
It's time for Magic!
Althea then became her towns local Magical Girl, and she still is to this day! Life is still wonderful, she's still exceptional, and now she feels like her life is realling beginning. With her microphone in her hand, she saves the city, the state, and even the world day by day!
Give us a hand for Althea!
- Melody was naturally born with pink hair, and even if she tries to dye it, in the morning it'll be pink again!
- When Melody gained her Magical girl form, pretty glass cat ears and cat tail formed on her too. Imagine the fright she had when she saw them!
- Melody did in fact, NOT get to choose her Magical girl form. It just appeared when she needed it most. In Melody's words, "it's so beyond the stars and back, embarrasing!"
- Melody thinks her cat Himi is immortal, she's already 19 and Himi still acts like a kitten. It's suspicious.
- Himi is immortal. She laughs at Melody when she does dumb things. Himi is mean.
Solace •
Angelite 'sister'
Solace is Melody's first glimpse into the world of good and evil, and she plays a very important part in Melody's life. She truly is Melody's Angelite 'sister'
Sunshine •
Goddess 'sister'
Much like Solace, Sunshine is a glimpse into another world, but this one is filled with gods and goddesses. It's new and scary, but Melody is happy to be there. Even if there is one god who seems to have it out for her.
