What is your favorite feature of this character's design? Or will you be redesigning it slightly?
Honestly, I really like the muted color palette, it makes it so she isn't straining my eyes when I'm looking at her. Probably abt the only thing I'd change would be removing the hat.
What is this character like?
Just having moved out from her parents' home, Coffee has found it pretty difficult to find an affordable home with what little savings she left with, and so has started working at a local coffee shop, while she sofa surfs at a few friends' homes. She's incredibly stubborn, as her parents are more than willing to let her move back in until she can save up enough to get a decent home for herself, but she's adamant she'll make it on her own somehow. Still, she does miss having a guaranteed roof over her head, not having to sleep on a couch...but hell if she'd admit it.
Despite everything, she's doing pretty well at the coffee shop, and the owners and their daughter appreciate her hard work, and offer her the spare bedroom they have in the apartment above the shop free of charge, but she always turns it down. It's there if she needs it, which she appreciates, but she feels like she'd just be burdening Caffeine and Hazel if she did accept their offer. Her nights (before heading to whoever's home she's crashing at that particular night) usually consist of visiting some all-night food places with her friends, with the odd visit to a club when she has enough spare bits to go, which keeps her spirits up.
What will you be using this character for?
She'd be working in a coffee shop three of my other OCs own (they're linked in the 'what is this character like?' answer), and I tend to draw out thumbnails for artwork I plan to do, but it always feels boring with just three characters, and since she has a coffee-based design, she'd be great to add to the employees there and make the art a little more lively!
