Like her butler and Elliot, Mary is a phobia or thats at least what she claims to be - some (Bruce and Damien) suspect that she is actually a demon/succubs (she isnt, just greedy) which may explain her seemingly unstoppable thirst for riches. Growing up in a very rich family, Mary isnt used to "commoner" things so sometimes she gets confused with really normal things and is used to hide her feelings behind an often selfish, crass facade that only the clostest people to her ever got around. She also fakes an american accent that she often slips out of by accident, esepcially when she gets overemotional to a point where no one can really understand her.
