- When I started actively working on The Curse of the Eryngo in 2022, I was wearing an orange scarf that was very reminiscent of Richard's. On redesign I even added on it fringe like on mine. Love it ^^.

- This paragraph is the story of Freeclaw, but he is the first version of Richard, so it's important. In 2019, I registered for the browser game CatWar, which is a fan game based on warrior cats. After the death of my first character, Freepaw, I created a new one with an identical appearance and root. When he became a warrior, his name was changed to Freeclaw, which his cat version still wears today. At that time there was no plot behind it, but I was already thinking about the concept. Freepaw was Freeclaw's second personality. I don’t remember well, but it had something to do with a time loop, where in another dimension he died before he became a warrior.
- In 2020, I decided to join a role-playing game about a mental hospital. The plot of the role-playing is not important (It's not that I remember much of what happened there), only that he still suffered from a split personality. More often he was mentioned under the nickname Volt. This roleplay inspired me to write fanfic, which was the beginning of the Richard we know. Volt went through a redesign, becoming anthro and having cute clothes.
- After writing that fanfic, I put Freeclaw on the back burner. But in 2022, I had an interesting dream, so I introduced some points from it into the plot and began to actively work on it again. He was redesigned again and got a new name. His cw name didn't fit anymore so I renamed him Richard.
