Humans

Humans are an Earthian species that has populated a large number of Dactyl plates. 

Like all Earthian species, Humans are of highly detailed and unique platonic design. Humans have very smooth skin without an exo-skeleton, have four limbs with five detailed grasping digits each, have highly detailed features and irregular patterns across their bodies, and have many internal and external organs that seem entirely superfluous. It is theorized that Earthian species like humans have not always existed in Dactyl, as evidence for their existence only dates back approximately 1,700 years.

Humans are notable for their obsessive organizatory tendencies, their passion for politics and diplomacy, their infectious philosophical and religious beliefs, and their ruthless warfare.

Humans notably enjoy switching up their body shape far from their platonic design. Skin color and hair color/structure is the most common variation. Though the platonic design of a human has dark brown skin, much lighter shades are very commonly taken on, for example. Many humans similarly decide to greatly adapt their body, such as by removing the human torsal prominences ("breasts") or increasing or decreasing their height by up to a meter.
