Personality: 

Soft but commanding, this pokemon has been in charge for a very long time. She seems to have a pretty hands off approach when it comes to rearing the young on her island. Still if they come crying to her side she doesn't hesitate to scoop them up and coddle them a bit. Turns out her hugs are just as soft as she is! Amaya has seen a lot of hardship which is why she made this island and protects it's reefs, but she doesn't let old scars harden her. Instead she tells stories about the joys of the world and tries to inspire the best out of the pokemon that stay with her.

Appearance:

An almost pearly white complexion with lots of ocean blue stripes. Freckles of color splash across her body in oranges and pinks. She is a bit on the small side for average sizes of Lugia species but she likes to use that to advantage when handling the small pokemon. Her horns and fins are striped with colors that help her camouflage perfectly in the coral reefs around the island.

History: 

Once upon a time when Amaya was young she traveled with a pod of other Lugia. Humans hunted down most of her group either for the hunt or capture. Amaya is the last remaining of her family unit, she has tried to search for them many times in the wide oceans despite knowing the humans got them. Amaya is fearful and mistrusting of humans. She will do everything she can to avoid engaging with them, but if they were to bring harm to her wards she would release all of her powers of the ocean upon them.

Relationships: 

Amaya has a few long standing relationships with other legendary pokemon. But she relatively keeps to herself unless she's called upon to help. She tends to keep her relationships private to herself.

She is exceptionally friendly to all pokemon, she seems to really adore the young ones. They all get along with her swimmingly and really seem to listen to her.

Lapras OC who helps take healed or mature enough pokemon out into the big world away from the protection of the island.
