My player character for Boyfriend Dungeon. Cheri is spending her summer in Verona Beach until her cousin Jesse's old apartment lease is up. She's cute enough, but fairly unremarkable and quiet and prefers to keep to herself. Unfortunately, Jesse isn't gonna let her be a hikkikomori for the summer and has decided to hook her up on dates! It takes A LOT of convincing on her part, and even when she does agree to go on these dates it takes FOREVER before she finally gets the vague inkling that "holy crap, this person might actually be romantically interested in me?! Like, for real?!?!"

Also these dates sometimes take place in monster-filled dungeons, which Jesse and his friends keep trying to shorten to "dunj". Cheri hates this word. (As does Cheri's creator lol) In this world, some people have the ability to turn into Weapons and can be carried by a Wielder, like Cheri. ...yay???

Cheri's favorite is Rowan, a non-binary scythe shifter who lives in a big old mansion on the edge of town. They consider themself a magic mystic who can see the waves of fate... or something... Cheri has learned not to question it. She met Rowan on a walk exploring the town when she came across them by accident. Initially put off by their curt demeanor and talk of magic and destiny, their white crow familiar (named Crowley) quickly broke the ice and allowed the two to start becoming friends, and they come to rely on her more and more in the wake of their grandmother's death. By the time the summer ends, the two are a fully committed thing, and Rowan extends an offer for Cheri to move into the mansion with them once she sorts things out at her mother's place.

As a scythe, Rowan winds up taller than her. This makes them a little unwieldy because of the bulk of the weapon, leading to Cheri having to learn how to make the most of her swings. They've got very good range, and though they're slower they can hit pretty hard. As a human, Rowan and Cheri are roughly the same height. Not that they're short; they have A LOT of presence are are almost impossible to ignore. Cheri finds her date-mate dramatic in an endearing way and enjoys when they treat her to tea, or a hike up the nearly bluffs.

(You all need to play Boyfriend Dungeon. It's short atm, but it's fun, and you can max out support with every love interest with no consequences. The "dunj" thing is literally the only flaw I can find with the game. Content warning though, because the player character does wind up with a stalker pretty early on. Weird texts mostly, right up until the end.)
