- ● Wei Long was born from the extra-communal affair of a Priest and a devotee in the city of Cali, Colombia. His father renounced his vows to marry his mother, and the boy had a very loving and healthy upbringing. Growing up, he showed interest in his father’s former occupation in the Catholic church, and he was sent to a religious school during his highschool years.
- ● Upon graduating from highschool, he immediately joined a Catholic seminar to follow what he considered was the righteous path: God’s message. However, one year later he turned 18 and —as all young men are obliged by law to abide, he joined the military forces. He was drafted to a small town where guerrillas were prevalent, and served his country for two years. Wei Long returned to the seminar with battle scars, both mental and physical, insisting that there were demons beyond human comprehension in war-torn areas where the common man seldom puts a foot.
- ● He grew an interest in demonology ever since, devouring books in the library of the seminar week after week. While he enjoyed the company of his friends at the religious school, he seemed to be more entertained by the concepts of the mythological and occult. After a grand total of eight years of study and service, Wei Long was designated as Priest of the Catholic Church, given a small and modest chapel to live and work in, for the community of his city. He used the basement of this building to start performing his firsts summoning rituals, beggining with small demonic entities, so on, and so forth.
- ● Six long years passed, and his knowledge of occultism allowed him to write his own books and papers. Unfortunately, men of science seldom believed his words, categorizing his tales as fiction. It was by this point that the Pope assigned Wei Long as the Bishop of his Diocese, at 32 years old. Meanwhile, during his time in the circles of religious men, Wei Long realized that his idols in the Church —his fellow religious men, were horrible creatures, as bad as the terrors he witnessed during the war. After months of being fed up by the Curio, which ordered him not to speak about the matter, the man snapped and started a series of assassinations behind public knowledge of priests who had commited atrocious crimes against those most vulnerable in society.
- ● Wei Long became aware that his research of the obscure had been influencing his actions, and still, he could not help himself for he believed his actions were righteous above any law. Only God could judge him at this point. The church discussed the matter with him, in a private hearing, and, considering the dangers of letting him speak his truth —another deserved scandal for the church, he was told to “Pilgrim to the farest city he could find and think of what he did through Penitence.” Wang Wei Long was sent to the city of sin itself: Las Vegas, Nevada.
- After settling down, bringing his mother with him, as she loved the ‘idea’ of America, Wei Long was forced to rent a separate place where he could perform his rituals without disturbing others: At this point, he met a biblical monster he was not prepared to confront against: Mysterion, the Whore of Babylon: The one who influenced his killing spree back in his home country. Unable to keep the creature at bay with the right spells, he was enthralled by her power, and the man was taken by the seduction of the demon.
- From this short-lived affair, a half-demon child was born nine months later: appearing next to him in his bed one morning, with no umbilical cord and covered in amniotic liquid, newborn only a few seconds before. Immediately understanding the severity of the situation, he guarded the child, his child, and raised her in the safety of his mother’s home. The girl was named Pei Shan.
- Three years passed since then, and the weary and hopeless Bishop roamed through the streets of the filthiest of cities, coming across a resort, of some sort, with a presence so diabolical and enigmatic, that his heart started to pound a way it hadn’t since his last demonic encounter; since the war. Through the means of his summons, he managed to find a spot in, leaving his daughter in the good hands of a now elderly grandmother, oblivious of the reality behind his grandchild with no belly button. Wei Long is now residing in the Exodus resort, working at the Chapel, while diving into old vices.
Trivia:
- His soul belongs to Mysterion, the demon he first summoned and mother of his child. He calls her his ex-wife to cope with... Trauma.
- He knows spells to summon demons, to make them identify themselves, and to keep them from harming him. For the later, he needs special items related to the demon in question, so it is difficult when it comes to any demon that is not in his grimoires, which is most of the Exodus population.
- He gets flustered easily around attractive or sensual women. It makes him distressed, since he is repulsed by sexuality yet can't stop feeling attraction under certain conditions.
- He's good at cooking Latinamerican recipes.
- Has a small gardening hobby. He wants to grow a herb garden.
- Religiously has tea time at the chapel with biscuits baked by himself, alone or otherwise.
- Carries a concealed colt python 357, for self-defense.
- He has acquired an augmentation, now serving as a host for the soul of Long Wang, the king of dragons and god of fertility. He is now able to go through a transformation that gives me dragon ears, horns, fangs, claws, reproductive organs, and a tail. He can control water (waterbending), breathe underwater, he can command sea creatures and his blood has healing properties.
