Angie is a curious Mhoat. She lives alone, secluded in an ornate house hidden in the mountains, and only comes to town once a week or so to get supplies in the town, covered from head to toe in a black veil. However, she wasn’t always this way…

She lived in the house with her Mother, who was either rumored to have given birth to a “monster” or been a monster herself. Mother never showed her true face, not even at home, and little Angie was treated delicately — likely due to fears she would be judged for a strange appearance, too.

Mother sang to her, read her stories, and brushed her long, blond hair. Angie was dressed up in cute outfits, much like a tiny doll, and was allowed to play outside in the garden of the estate. Otherwise, both of them were excluded from society from all besides the mhoats hired to upkeep the house.

Once mother died, Angie was distraught. It was said that was when she gained the tears forever flowing from her eyes, and the flower petals wilting off her jointed frame…

Now, Angie is a talented, if reclusive, seamstress. Her garments are well-known in the little town, even if they don’t necessarily know much about the maker herself. She uses only the finest silks and dyes to make her clothes, and can repair almost any broken or torn fabric.

Still, one might wonder what goes on in that haunted house at night, when all that can be heard is the whirring of the sewing machine and the creak of the floorboards…
