Backstory: Once upon a time, a kingdom known as Wingding Wallows was struck with disaster after their baby princess had gone missing. They pleaded for Jax and Glendale to do something, to help them feel happy again, however Jax held a belief that joy such as that could only be found, not created. 

So the king set out a search for a person who could make he and his people happy again, a jester to bring joy to his court. The search went far and wide, however nobody wanted to take up the task. That was until, a stranger approached the castle one dreary morning, as they seemed to materialize into existence from the forest's shadows. This strange man claimed to be from a far off kingdom, and heard about the plea for help. He offered his comedic expertise, and though skeptical of this mysterious jester at first, after he preformed, the king and his court were dying of laughter. He gave Adamend the title of royal jester, and the people rejoiced. 

Jax warned the king that they did not remember creating Adamend, nor did they trust them. But the king brushed off the concern as, after all... how could something that brought his people such joy possibly be bad?

For years Adamend performed for the kingdom and king, never needing as much as a break. In fact, he seemingly never ate or slept... only performed. The kingdom became known as one of permanent celebration and happiness, as festivals happened daily and the entire world seemed bright.

However mysteriously, one day... during a mighty banquet, the king seemed to laugh so hard from Adamend's performance that he fell over, dead. It was found after the fact that his food was spiked with a local plant known as Laffodils, a poisonous flower that in high doses kill those who consume it through a laughing fit. The culprit seemed to be the queen, who pleaded that she had done no such thing and that she loved her husband. But with her laffodil garden and mysterious recent fights with the king before his death... the people turned on her, rallied up by the king's beloved jester.

Adamend took the throne after the queen was thrown in jail, as most trusted him with the crown.

The permanent partying of the kingdom seems to have not ended since then... however, the people of Wingding Wallows seem a lot less... genuinely happy these days. Almost like they're being forced to smile.
