too many servants for everything. gets a kick out of ppl thinking they can use him to get a leg up on others. has a whole ass gladiator ring or some shit just for entertainment. like just rich ppl hedonism at its finest. smug and weirdly excitable

he is talkative and energetic, which many mistake for an amicable personality, and some even believe him to be two-faced; in reality, though, he never lies about the fact that he's responsible for the amount of deaths that he is, nor does he even try to keep it a secret. he's just doing what has to be done, be it for the sake of order or entertainment ;)

often follows his impulse without a second thought. flamboyant, self-gratifying, unreserved. if he can have practically whatever he wants, why not have it all? 

probably has never experienced a genuine relationship in his life. has had several relationships, however, where he let the other person feel like they're walking all over him before pulling the rug out from under their feet and having them executed. his subjects are toys (or, when needed, scapegoats), and winning his genuine care is a difficult task. it's also just fun to goad people into doing stupid shit.

let absolutely nothing get in his way or ruin his fun. he does not claim to be a patient man, or a very understanding one.

preascension powers include the ability to passively steal energy from others, more or less reinvigorating himself and generally healing faster when around others.

powers when ascended eventually include the ability to transfer some of his injuries to his enemies, the ability to more fully 'sap' health, increase and strengthen his own biological functions by swapping his out for better ones, and the stronger ability to drain vitality from others, including the ability to target specific parts. after all, he is number one. anyone should be honored to give their life to their emperor. :)
