Paz was born on September 11th, 4994 on Earth, being the first born child to his parents who lived and worked on a small farm called Morning Star Fields which lay in the small rural town known as Briar Glen. Paz grew up working with his parents and eventually helping to raise his little sister Serena, all the while dreaming of doing something far more than just farming. He dreamed of doing big things, he dreamed of adventuring in far off lands and planets. He wished more than anything to journey amongst the stars and meet new people and life forms.

Unfortunately for his parents, this wasn't just a phase that Paz would grow out of and before they knew it he was in high school working hard to get the best grades he could so that he could enter into the Star League College. When Paz was eighteen years old and graduating from high school, his parents presented him with their prized family heirloom: a leather collar with old bullets fitted in slots and a bullet dangling from where a tag would be. It was a collar that had been made by his great-great-great-great grandfather after the Last War: the war that brought world peace to the planet Earth. It was an heirloom which his father had been wearing proudly forever and it was now Paz's to wear. He wore the collar every day since that day and never took it off, considering it his good luck charm as the day after he got it, he found out that he was accepted into Star League College for their Starship Program which would potentially lead him to a job with the Star League Federation (or the Star League as they were mostly known by).

Paz's time in Star League College would eventually become the stuff of legends, particularly the Harlex Maneuver as it became known as when he had done some particularly crafty navigating in one of the simulators. Paz graduated top of his class in navigation and his amazing skills caught the attention of the board to the Star League when they were considering applicants to be part of the crew for the latest Starship that was scheduled to be launched to explore a previously unexplored section of the galaxy. Due to Paz's high honors within the Star League College, he was quickly accepted by the board and assigned to the Starship The Promise under the command of Captain Asteria.

His family was extremely proud of him, none more so than his little sister Serena, who looked up to him and wanted to end up working on the Star League on a Starship just like him. Paz spent a great deal of time with his family during the week prior to the boarding and launch of the The Promise as he wanted to appreciate every moment with his family before departing to the unknown quadrants of the galaxy so that he'd have plenty more memories of his family to live on while he was away from them and possibly unable to contact them. After the launch of The Promise, Paz has proven to be an invaluable part of the crew who has gotten the ship and crew out of several scrapes.

The Family Heirloom

Within Paz's family there exists one prized family heirloom, which is passed down every generation to the oldest child, regardless of gender, on the occasion of their eighteenth birthday. This heirloom is a leather collar which holds a series of bullets, with one dangling like a tag. This collar is something which was made by his great-great-great-great grandfather, Toninho Todaro, after the Last War (the war that brought world peace to the planet Earth) had ended. It was crafted using the bullets that he had started the war with, but had never fired. Paz's mother had been wearing proudly until Paz had turned eighteen and it is now his to wear proudly.

Paz is perhaps one of the most eccentric and light hearted individuals that you might ever meet, he enjoys having a good laugh and making others laugh as well. He's well known for his positive pranks, which are aimed to make others laugh and smile (as well as himself). Paz is known to be very warm and sensitive. His sensitive nature though, is what he's often admired for as his warm sensitive side is often needed when exploring space and meeting new indivuals. Paz is also quite perceptive, he's not likely to miss a tear or the fact that someone seems to be acting different, this is somethig which has on many occasions been something that people will count on as well as his efficiency whenever they need cheering up.

Of course he's also intelligent, hardworking and organized, but in smaller doses and they're often spoiled by habits of being disorderly as well. He's got a childish nature, but it's perhaps a more charming aspect to him that goes along with his romatic nature. Nobody's perfect of course and Paz is certainly no exception and has his fair share of character flaws. His pranks, childishness, and overall lightheartedness often rubs people as they'll think he's not taking a situation seriously and his positivity certainly gets on other's nerves. He can be a bit obnoxious at times as well as his occassional self-indulgence can certainly get him into quite a bit of trouble, but fortunately Paz's dedication to lift the spirits of those around him as well as his warm, caring nature tend to soften the blows.
