Silver, the captain of the Grim, somehow has the power to command the shadows that plague the Seas of Reflection. Such power has made it's mark on him, however, as part of his face, and his right arm, seem to be made of shadow. Seems to answer only to one thing, a "Lord of Shadow."
Coldhearted and Cruel, Silver seems to rule his guild through fear. Pirates who cross him end up fed to Shadows, not much but more shadows left where they were at.
