Thurston is obsessed with being famous and would do just about anything for it. He poses as a human man but uses other personas to bolster his fame higher.  He sold his soul to the FC accidentally, think he was signing a talent agent contract. 

He tends to hide the fact that he is a changeling from his coworkers, afraid they might run off with the secret of his "success".
