Dr. Ripper prides himself in his line of work, despite what other Auras may feel about his methods. He is rather experimental with his methods, leading him to have unorthodox ways of treating patients, usually using a combination of Aura blood, water mixed with chemicals, and sometimes his own bonesaw. Despite rumors, the doctor claims to have the best methods of dealing with the sick and the wounded in the entire world, a claim that does hold some water: His treatments have a 90% effectiveness against sickness. Not to mention, he's rather...charming. His voice has been described as dripping with honey, and he hardly gets angry or raise his voice against more stubborn patients.

That being said, it's probably for the best that you don't ask him where he gets the Aura blood from...

A relatively unknown figure in his beginnings, Dr. Jekyll Ripper was born to a family of Doctors. Throughout his childhood, he watched his parents perform surgeries and prescribe medications, although Auras were often uncertain that the medication they were getting was going to help. He disliked the uncertainty, that the patients gave to his parents about their work, and how they never stood entirely behind what they were doing. Granted, he could see where they were coming from: The medicines didn't always work, and the procedures often ended up unnecessary. He vowed to be a better doctor than his parents, hell, better than any other doctor in this town.

It started out small and simple: He opened a Doctor's office, using the techniques of the generation before him to get by...But he soon started implementing some experimental treatments. Some failed and were quickly discarded, but some...found a root of success higher than the treatments of the past. He became a high profile doctor soon after, Many singing high praises of his talent, his charisma and his methods. He's the best doctor around, they said! He can cure almost anything, they said!

What they didn't know was the cost. See, In seeking for a way to perfect his methods, he turned to experimenting with the blood of Auratails to get results. And Results he did get: However, for one reason or another he couldn't isolate the chemical that cured common sicknesses from the blood itself without sacrificing efficiency. And, to be frank, blood donation wasn't all that common in society, and he wasn't about to use his own blood to treat others. So...he often had to get what he needed from less than willing subjects. Recently, reports began to emerge of Auratails going missing, only to be found dead and drained of their blood, and some patients who went to Dr. Jekyll reported some odd behavior with him. He was still charming and Patient, but...something about that charming nature came off as uncomfortably calm, rather than pleasant to be around. However, his efficiency remained nothing to sleep on, so for the time being, he remains the best doctor in the district, so it seems his business remains open for now...
