At the top of his career in biology, Cameron was notoriously infamous for taking his co-workers’ responsibilities and tending to them himself. He often labeled them as “insufficient” and “lazy”. Never did he seem to tire from taking on extra work. One might assume that his co-workers would appreciate his desire to take their workload, but it only reduced their pay the more Cameron took on. Understandably so, they were quite peeved by the situation and yet, the workaholic scientist did not understand the word ‘no’.

It was purely out of spite that they decided to play a joke on the poor scientist to encourage him to cease his work-stealing tendencies…

---

Well, there is always that one co-worker that takes the joke a bit too far. Spilling a rather toxic sample of cells into his coffee one morning only resulted in Cameron’s almost immediate death. Sort of. Hauling the presumably deceased body away from public eye, a few fellow scientists sought to find out what exactly it was that killed him! The biopsy only just begun when the single slice of the knife sealed itself shut. Not a single trickle of blood seeped through the wound before it was healed. Again, another try with the same effect. Not long after, there was a steady rise and fall within the dead-man’s chest as a heartbeat began anew. As Cameron opened his eyes to spy the scientists looming over him, his first reaction…?

---

Grab the scalpel off of the tray and jam it straight into the neck of the one that once held it; a rather perfectly aimed direct hit on the carotid artery . Needless to say, he had his own sights set on revenge, even after his consciousness only just recovered.

No doubt, this initiated some sort of panic. The other scientists fled, rather than helping to detain him. As Cameron had called them … “Insufficient!”

Clearly, it was about time to hand in his resignation letter. Or not. The scientist fled from the lab without much of a trace.

Returning home, nauseous and dazed, Cameron was left alone to recollect his thoughts and regain his senses. Not much remained, but his continuous desire to work. He wanted to. He had to, just as the toxins he ingested began to further mutate his body from the inside out.

His basement transformed, expanded, turned into a personalized laboratory, there seemed to be no where else to go but forward.

Brent

[ ally/lab rat ] An unfortunate test subject that was forced into his very capable hands. Despite having known each other for so many years, Cameron refuses to call this one 'friend'. Despite Brent's willingness to be friendly and compassionate to the scientist, it is only one-sided.

2691269?

Maximilian

[ experimental subject ] Yet another test victim that Cameron seeks to improve. Even more so that Max is a cyborg made from an unfortunate event. His robotic anatomy is nothing but a playground for the scientist to tweak.

Isaiah

[ convalescent ] Another sad case, but one Cameron feels mild sympathy for. Rather than being yet another test subject, Isaiah is the experiment of another madman's delusion that the shorter scientist is caring for.

Vesthma

[ progeny ] A child that came to be as a result of an experiment gone wrong, no thanks to Brent. They are not related by blood, but Cameron saw to it that he was able to claim responsibility for the child seeing as... Brent lacks the intelligence to do so.

Vertigo

[ prototype - beta ] Every scientist needs to 'play god' at least once in their lives. Vertigo was the result of that. He is still in the works, and not yet fully completed, but it is an upgrade from his former design; Ogitrev.

Help_Need_Suggestion_Question_Unknown-51

Ogitrev

[ prototype - alpha ] No one ever talks about Ogitrev.
