zzz.... he has severe cataracts (images are not updated) and hypersomnia he wanted to pursue art but couldn't and now lives without a purpose. he owns a doberman as a service animal to help him navigate around and to help his depression 

he is a sleepwalker and people find it difficult to notice if he's actually asleep. this is also a factor in why he is always tired. his doberman often protect koiwe from himself when he's sleepwalking. koiwe often kills himself in his dreams to force himself to wake up but his movements may lead to him actually attempting while sleepwalker. he has a locking mechanism on his medicine cabinet because of this

koiwe is from an upper middle class family from elsewhere. he was popular with girls and boys throughout elementary school. he befriended fos to make himself seem like a better person bc ppl didn't want to be friends with fos bc he's deaf. ppl only stopped isolating fos bc koiwe was friends with him....

koiwe began to develop cataracts around 12 and worsen exponentially throughout middle school. his friends began to isolate him along with fos bc koiwe is no longer seen as cool. he began to sleep more to cope with the sudden change with the ppl around him, developing hypersomnia eventually. after completing middle school, he convinced his parent to let him move to onem with fos bc the hostility towards them was too unbearable.

fos was the only one who doesn't treat him differently. koiwe fears fos who leave him bc he is more dependent on fos than fos is to him

bro koifos has been dating for like 15 years and they still aren't engaged/married 💀💀💀💀 i think they forgot....
