Kavi is what I've decided to call a cinder demon. Despite being from a line of formidable demons that can effortlessly reduce near anything to cinders, he's chosen to become a writer and turn his back on the family business of being professional minions. It all feels a bit old fashioned to him, being the muscle for someone just because they pay the bills, and he's decided it would be far more fun to make a living writing gritty crime novels. He's finding some decent success in his pursuits, making enough to live on for the most part...though sometimes he falls back to shitty online tutoring job. But it works.

He's got a very chaotic neutral sense of morality, holding a few general scruples and otherwise not caring too much about what people do as long as it doesn't concern him or register as needlessly heinous...so you could say he has slightly good leanings, but he will incinerate anyone that he has to without feeling bad about it.
