About
Jumbies
A jumbee, jumbie, mendo or chongo in Colombia and Venezuela is a type of mythological spirit or demon in the folklore of some Caribbean countries. Jumbee is the generic name given to all malevolent entities. There are numerous kinds of jumbees, reflecting the Caribbean’s complex history and ethnic makeup, drawing on African, Amerindian, East Indian, Dutch, English, and even Chinese mythology.
Different cultures have different concepts of jumbees, but the general idea is that people who have been evil are destined to become instruments of evil (jumbee) in death. Unlike the ghost folklore which represents a wispy fog-like creature, the jumbee casts a dark shadowy figure. It is believed that the spirit separates from the body three days after death, at which point the havoc begins. Jumbies are believed to have the ability to shape-shift, usually taking the form of a dog, pig, or more likely, a cat.
Backstory
In Sesame's case, they were originally a Pudu that got trapped in the pitch lake [W.I.P.; Ah. I bet the deer wished he had claws so he can better out the asphalt. Anywho, little girl on a field trip gave him her doll so he wouldn't feel as lonely. dead. now roams the pitch lake, waiting for said girl to return so they can return the doll.] Can only travel on pathways made from asphalt. He usually just walks and traugts but ocassionally he'll travel through it, causing potholes to appear in the spot he surfaces from. I guess this catergorizes them as a non-traditional Moko Jumbie; A protecting spirit rather than an evil one.

Relationships
He's just tragic. Marcus is literally always being followed by these guys (jumbies) so it isn't a surprise he would have Sesame interested in him too. Luckyily, Marcus has eyes of glass and sees them even when they're 'hidden'. He knows what kind of theatrics he has to pull to avoid them; not Sesame tho, they're more like a pet. A large puppy even.
These two don't interact all that often but when they do, It's usually Boyuo dragging in another victim or stalking the lip of the Pitch Lake .
