Nirik was like most kobolds in many ways. He enjoyed digging and eating and absolutely loved shiny objects. The main differences were his appearance and dwelling. His kind adapted to forest life rather than dwelling underground and in caves. The end result seemingly was that they slowly traded their scales for fur to help them deal with the temperature changes above ground. They lived in small canopy villages in forests with towering trees. Often these forests were inhabited by forest dragons which they worshipped. Though they appear different they generally are the same if not a little more crafty and far more stealthy than their earth dwelling cousins. Life in the forest means they need to be excellent at stealth and hunting. They are excellent at stalking and will follow humans that pass through for miles while never being detected. They are excellent with bows and blow dart weapons which they use to expertly take down targets. Naturally like their cousin there are also wizards and fighters as well. Nirik stood at 3’5 and is covered in white fur from his lower jaw, under his arms, over his belly, inside of his legs and the underside of his tail along with the tail feathers. The rest of his body is covered in a dark blue fur with black fur covering his hands, feet and the tip of his snout. He has a line of black fur going down his back and two white horns on his head and a small one on the tip of his nose. He has black stripes that cover various parts of his body which act as natural camouflage. He also has to mid length ears which he can move around. They generally reflect his mood. In general he is a very quiet kobold that tries to stay out of the limelight. After an incident involving a crazed wizard he was branded with a storm rune which made him grow a foot taller and also allowed him to more or less cast storm magic with relative ease.
