Turi is a quiet yet enthusiastically gladitorial alien who is part of the Zolnier race on planet Maa' Ritarien. She is also the princess of the Zolniers, the only daughter of King Vareen.
ORIGIN
At an early age Turi’s parents, the King and Queen of the kingdom, were killed. Leaving the young Turi orphaned and the kingdom without a ruler.
The royal guardsmen were left to raise Turi to become the princess the Zolnier people needed so desperately, disregarding any interests Turi developed, teaching her how to talk and even her name. And yet throughout all the years Turi’s lived, she’s always wished to fight like everyone else, to live the life she chooses.
Zolnier: The Zolnier race have a unique trait that allows them to take in the power of physical attacks such as punches, kicks, etc. and release it in differing levels via a powered-up action of their own, attack or not.
Due to their species’ history of being part of a war that spans several lifetimes, the Zolnier are naturally stronger than the average human and are much more physically active/capable.
The Zolniers' legs have a layer of hardened skin akin to rocks which allow the Zolniers to keep a firm and strong stance as combatants try to knock them down. Turi's layer extends past what is considered average, giving them a spiky look.
After helping her escape her old life, Turi is thankful toward Omniv and is one of few people she has conversations with. Turi occasionally spars with them, wanting to improve her skills as a fighter while Omniv practices controlling their powers.
From what she's heard about him, Turi can recognise Braum as a warrior fighting for his own sanity, but can't help but wonder how he'd fare as an actual warrior in a fight.
- For most of her life Turi was considered a mute, as she never learned how to speak properly.
- This was until she started opening herself up to Omniv, learning to talk from them.
- Turi's name is based on the Finnish word for warrior: Soturi
- She hasn't finished growing, despite reaching adulthood.
- She cares immensely for her family's pride, wanting to make her bloodline proud and to be recognised as a worthy ruler after her father.
