Also called "Ulrich the Foolish" for supposedly using forbidden magics to ensare an otherwise unreachable being and force it into an aggressive corporeal form, which everyone else but him now has to deal with. Ulrich was banished from an arrogant and egotistical circle of wizards for being too arrogant and egotistical for them, amongst many other violations against society. Nowadays he spends his time scouring the lands and woods in search of a way to access the great library, which he is not allowed to enter, for obvious reasons.

- The state of his physical appearance is self inflicted. Ulrich has "harvested" the eyes from various creatures and beings and uses magic to fuse them into his own body. As a result, he can see the world around him in dozens of different ways.
- Often suffers from sensory overload due to his multitude of eyes. He typically abates this by isolating himself in a low-lit area and enjoying hot teas infused with various different magical remedies.
- Has been seeking to enter the great library for many years. He will often wander around looking for unique or special individuals or items that he believes may help him to access the library in some way. In return he offers his own magical services, but accepting such an offer is almost like being granted wishes from a genie -- you may never receive exactly what you expect.
- Seeks to obtain and infuse his body with one eye of every kind of creature walking the earth. He's kind of the living embodiment of a "jar of eyeballs".
- If he ever actually gained access to the great library he'd probably never leave.
