Although Aether doesn't look like one, she manages the ancient forest of Borus in an unknown country. She manages the forest from the Winter Solstice to the Spring Equinox. She brings forth the winter winds through the forest and ushers the animals back towards their den. Her temper influences the winter weather to an extreme degree. For example, Aether is hardly an impatient or moody person, however, if someone or something causes her to lose her reasoning, she can cause a blizzard that lasts for days. She treats her forest with pride and affection; seeing her precious forest being intruded and destroyed by unsuspecting humans infuriates her and the snowstorms following her anger drives the humans out. On the other hand, when she is in a joyous mood, the cloud will part, letting the warm sunshine onto the land.

She doesn't have many chances to make any friends through the winter season due to all the animals hibernating. That is why she has a strong affinity towards snowshoe hares as they are still active and are able to keep Aether company. She has two close friends that she keeps in contact with other than the hares. She would occasionally go over to Garnet's house to have a cup of tea together and catch up with each other lives. After the spring season arrives and her job was over, she travels to the East to meet up with Shinon as they then trek across the vast land of the Arctic together until the next Winter Solstice comes around.
