Profile

Lorvora is a silent, mysterious Pearlcatcher, coming from a distant lair within the Scarred Wasteland. Though she was born in the Viridian Labyrinth, she remembers very little of her childhood there - and what followed is too ghastly for her to speak of. Her memories of the previous lair she resided in bring her a lifetime's worth of pain, sorrow, and guilt.

Most of the following information is not public knowledge, but she comes from a place that she refers to as "The Fair". It's a mystical, deceptive place. The air there is full of mystery and color; all who go there are granted a sense of wonder.. at a price. The inner workings of the Fair are far darker than the facade they maintain. More often than not, when a guest wanders in, they don't come back out. The fates of the guests vary greatly. Most of the guests die in a multitude of different ways, depending on what attraction they visit - essentially allowing them to choose how they die. Those that don't perish are assimilated into the Fair's corrupted interior.

Whether or not Lorvora took lives herself is left ambiguous, but it is likely that she participated in the Fair, acting as yet another cog within the machine. It can be assumed that she was indoctrinated at a young age. It is unknown as to why she left, as well as whether or not she left of her own volition. Regardless of the circumstances, she does not want to go back, and was desperate to find refuge elsewhere.

At some point, she chose to wear a mask to conceal her face. Lorvora notably did not wear one until her departure from the Fair, which may indicate that whatever she did would be enough to get her banished, imprisoned.. or worse. While she personally doesn't doubt that the Fair would punish those that do not adhere to their twisted ways, she managed to avoid a fate comparable to that of the guests. However, it has been noted that she does not speak, which may be because she simply doesn't want to - or she is physically unable to do so.

She now lives a somewhat peaceful life, at least. Though she is plagued by regrets, she is slowly adapting to a calmer way of life, one that does not involve the deaths of her fellows. Lorvora notably suffers from agoraphobia for unclear reasons, and as a result, her home is considerably small.
