Jackie lives their life with an overwhelming lack of personal motivation.
They take things as they go, having fun whenever they can, and not really expecting much of anything to come out of their life. Gaining the ability to bend metal always just seemed like a cute little trick to do at parties, until a fortune teller encouraged them to work on it.
Jackie trained by themselves, bending and straightening different metal objects until their town was threatened. They acted without thinking. The incident terrified Jackie to think of what their friends and neighbors would do, so they ran as far away as they could.
Again, they didn't know what their next course of action would be.
