THIS IS SO SICKK!!! /POS Gosh I really love how this sorta feels like a scrapbook with the different scenes on top of the background and the drawings pasted on top of those, that halfbody really feels like it was cut out from some paper and I love the general vibe and colors here, the messiness with the added strokes on this version give so much drama and expression I absolutely adore this (also see it says vent so I hope you're doing alright <3)

Owly's mostly a soft, intelligent being, that likes the company of their friends and warmt. Loves rainy evenings, soft pillows and music, but she won't turn down dark humor and punk and horror, being a huge fan of weird, rock-like music and dark shows. However, their tastes stay very varied in almost anything, from food to clothes and the music they listen to.
Though usually calm and unresponsive to most comments, mean or nice, she can also become very excited or happy about something, as well as very mad or depressed really quickly. Most of the time she will be either too bored or too anxious to talk to other people than her close friends, to whom they talk to freely. They prefer staying behind at parties and such, as socializing isn't really their thing When they become very mad about something, they turn into Null, a considerably more powerful, dangerous and volatile version of themself.
Design
Owly's design is based off a floral skull theme, therefore neither of these two elements are optional. If you need to simplify her design, you can, though I prefer you didn't! Even though the reference explains most of the design stuff needed, feel free to ask me any questions related to it if you need!
They are a lithe, soft but not fluffy creature, in the form of a cat! Her skull mask can be drawn as either more realistically or more cartoony, I don't mind either way. Both their flowers and heart-shaped sting are incredibly venomous, and quite dangerous. Her paw pads are the same color as their "blood", which is actually a slimey, orange liquid that makes up most of their physical form, with few exceptions where it leaks a little- paw pads, missing face, sting, "tears" & "blood" are all just her contructing goo leaking out.
Design Notes
- When they become very angry, their skull can crack, and they return to their form lnown as Null
- They Never stay without their flowers on
- "Blood", "tears" and flowers are always the same color, and usually orange
- They wear the top part of a cat skull as a form of mask, as she doesn't have a face underneath
History
Owly is a non-terrestrial being- for short, an alien- that has landed on Earth with a comet fell near a village somewhere in brazil. She is a morph, and when in her original form, she looks and feels very similar to a lump of black slime with starry ligths within.
The first ever being she'd encountered after hitting the Earth was a cat, which she took as an example which she shapeshifted to.
design elements
The only two things she doesn't understand about living creatures are their claws and faces, hence why they couldn't form those.
Not being able to form a face, they decided to borrow a little bit more from the cat they met, now using the skull as mask to cover her imperfections. Not having an actual face also leads to her not crying actual tears. When they feel strong emotions, she partially loses control of her shapeshifting abilities and starts to "melt", the slimey substance inside of her starting to drip throught the holes in their skull and causing her to "cry".
Her flowers are poisonous, and are actually an extend part of her herself, so she takes care of every and each one of them every day. If someone ever touches or causes her sweet flowers to wither, they better run.
