Quiet and an attentive listener, Heliotropewish speaks with the intention of conveying themself as directly and understandably as possible. A simple and direct answer is always most effective and useful, in their eyes; overcomplicating things with elaborate plans or flowery words is a waste of time, and only serves to bury one's intentions, whether good or ill. They value honesty, and sometimes gets frustrated with cats prone to boasting, prattling on, or dancing around delicate subjects, mostly because it can be a challenge for themself to parse others' words when they don't speak directly. They are a very polite cat, however, affording everyone around them respect and dignity, even if they don't get along. Despite this, they can be a bit of a gossip, even if the habit embarrasses them deeply. They never wish to speak ill of their Clanmates, they just can't help but take in hearsay or speculate on drama around them. They keep almost anything unkind they might have to say to themself, but if someone earns their ire, they can display a rather scathing, sarcastic wit, as rare as it is for them to grow angry enough to voice it. They're protective of their siblings in particular, though, and anyone Helio notes messing with them will receive silent, baleful glares from across camp, and frosty treatment when speaking. Duty is very important to them, and they will set aside their personal feelings for the sake of the greater good, even while holding a grudge. They go out of their way to help their Clan however they can, and are often the first to volunteer for any extra duties that need doing.
