A Darkner from, idk, a kindergarten Dark World?

In the Light World, she's a kindergartner's backpack.

Carry5.jpg

Her eyes are light reflecting thingies.

Mouth is a zipper, and she might or might not have a 2nd one on her stomach. Disclaimer: she might. And does. Even tho it likely should be on her chest, now that I think about it.

Arms are straps and quite strong despite being lanky.

Legs are decorations and Carry can barely use them. She moves by floating in a bouncy kinda way, as if she still were on her owner's back.

Carry specializes in healing magic and is a doctor in her world. Not sure why a backpack would know healing magic, but then again, why not? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

She's pacifistic, easygoing and a bit quirky. But she will not easily forget those who tried to spite her and prefers to stay away from them. She'll still help as a healer, but as soon as they're okay, it's back to avoiding.

 Fight

There's no way she'll attack first, but since for some reason I decided there must be a fight, I had to make up why it happens.

So yeah, the heroes are somehow tricked into fighting her by the boss of her world so that they'd lose a potential healer ally and simultaneously draw the ire of many Darkners whom Carry helped.

Carry was minding her business. [Encounter]

Carry - AT ??? DF 10
*She's sparing you.
She'd leave, but considers it impolite.

Can be spared instantly. Anything except for the action TALK ('till a certain point) detracts from the Mercy meter. Fighting cuts it in half the first time, then depletes it ultimately. Once the meter hits 0% or the dialogue which I've yet to write ends, Carry is LOST.

 not really Attacks

Security Blanket - a literal blanket, warm and cozy. Boosts defense.

Costs 10 TP, but is only available when the counter's around 80% full. 'cause, y' know, "tension".

*Carry ponders if it isn't time for laundry day.

Stardust Glimmer - a multitude of shiny particles hangs in the air, obscuring field of view. Everyone's field of view.

*Carry's squinting really hard and regretting her decision.

Dance Dance - summons dance floor. It's only ever been used at dance parties, but Carry is well capable of turning the flashing tiles into healing green for the fight. Getting HP from this would be a rhythm game against her of sorts.

*Carry's snapping her... fingers... somehow.

Comfort Food - a healing spell, conjures up its namesake. Specific to whomever it's being used on and requires Carry to touch the person to "collect the data".

 Evil versions

Because I had an idea their world's ruled by a brat who casually implements mind control which absolutely hasn't already been  used in canon *sarcasm* and Carry totally gets dragged into the mess.

They aren't exclusively evil, actually, and Carry can perform them just fine without being controlled. She just chooses not to.

Insecurity Blanket - covers the entire battlefield, makes issuing and avoiding attacks difficult. In theory. It also kinda hides the opponents from Carry, whoops.

*Unable to fight, everyone's playing Marco Polo.

Harmful version of Stardust Glimmer which doesn't have a fancy name yet implying any of those names are fancy - the shiny particles are no longer getting in the way 'cause they melded into giant stars that plummet to the ground as soon as they appear.

*Shooting stars don't seem as beautiful when they're shooting you.

Break Dance - the flashing tiles are now orange and explosive.

*Carry wishes you to break a leg. She seems to mean it...

Discomfort Food - incapacitates the target for 1 turn. This version doesn't require physical contact since the kind of food doesn't matter here. What matters is that it's spoiled.

Trivia

Her spells are based on the backpack's contents: Security Blanket and Dance Dance - a musical toy, Comfort Food - snacks, Stardust Glimmer - glitter glue.

Tried making her slightly creepy. Apparently, overdid with "slightly" 'cause she's not creepy at all.

I named her Carry solely because she's a backpack, but one of the meanings just so happened to be "friend". It also sounds kinda like "care".

I was deciding between a ragdoll and a backpack and went with the latter because it can  justify some of the design choices like her creepy grin better.

She could've been a humanoid if I didn't stop myself in time. XD
