• Hair is usually kept up in a bun, but can be drawn down. She's a chef so its easier to keep hold of it when it's tied back.

Sonal is a well spoken and gentle cat with a love of food and fine dining. She's an artistic and creative soul, and one who used to be quite the extroverted party girl. Though she's mellowed out significantly over the years, she's still a ton of fun to be around, and her extremely open and nonjudgemental personality makes her very accepting of almost anyone, no matter their faults. She's a warmhearted motherly sort who will gladly steer you in the right direction, offer you advice, or just be there to listen if you need an ear or two.

She's always got a helping paw, and while her life is by no means perfect- she's always optimistic and hopeful for the future. No matter the strife, you'll never find her complaining or refusing to take responsibility for her actions, and she'll always give her hundred-and-ten-percent in every situation.

Her main drawback is she really isn't that ambitious, which is the main reason she doesn't really move anywhere in her career, while she's skilled and inspired, she's not assertive enough to be cutthroat with her competitors and she'd rather just enjoy her comfortable life doing what she loves, first and foremost. 

Sonal has been a lover of food and cooking since a young age, but it wasn't always her passion. She did it as a hobby, until going to college for an unrelated degree at the behest of her family. She promptly partied away her college life and ended up flunking out and being disowned by her parents after costing them a ton of money just to fail. For a while following this, she ended up in a deep depression and struggled to find her purpose and what she really connected with this. During this time of struggling, she joined a cooking class at the local community center. At first just as a distraction, but the more she attended, the better she got. The more she experimented, and the more this little hobby became a deep and simple love of the art.

She eventually pursued a job as a chef. Going back to school on money earned cooking at a simple diner, getting through her classes, and acing every exam and test put her way. Enough so, that she caught the attention of some big names and even starred in a few one off spots on local news shows for cooking segments. She eventually ended up applying and accepted as a chef at one of the renown local restaurants serving fine dining, where she's currently rising through the ranks.

To her, food is an art first, and a career second. She loves her job. She loves her life. And while it's not perfect by any means, She's happy.
