Bastet is an ancient relic, protecting an old inaccessible temple and shrine long forgotten by others. He is of another world / realm and possesses staggering psychic and otherworldly abilities, his origin is unknown but is shown in multiple ancient depictions and texts around the world that can no longer be understood by those alive today. He is able to see into the future and has a vast knowledge of everything that has ever happened. Bastet existed before the world he currently resides in did and possesses key knowledge of creation and other realms.
When Bastet talks it sounds like multiple voices of different tones speaking at once, he is in touch with higher dimensions and beings with him himself being a higher being with unknown powers. He is extremely mysterious but is very passive unless himself, the temple or hidden knowledge / documents / scripts are threatened by the sudden appearance of other beings. Is also notably stoic.
