Game Summary: OmegaROOK is an arcade style, Japanese 2D-fighter known for its beautiful animations, awesome soundtrack and insanely difficult controls. Players can choose from over 16 different characters, each with their own fighting style and abilities. Fighters strive for claim over the Rook, a object said to grant ultimate power. Pydur fights for the game's main antagonist, trying to claim it for him with promise that he will hold a seat of power when he takes over the world with the Rook's power. However, his character can be persuaded to join either side depending on which character's story line you choose to play.
Gameplay: Pydur is reserved for the more advanced players of OmegaROOK. He has some of the most difficult combos in the game, some stringing together more than 18-hit button combinations. Most of his base attacks are weak but if you can get his combos just right, he has devastating powers. He is the first 'boss' you come to in the game and is proudly responsible for massive loss of coins and the dreaded countdown of the 'Continue?' screen. He is more powerful in dark stages, his own stage is a midnight garden party at a victorian mansion with a crescent moon overhead. Most of his attacks are performed by manipulating the shadow tentacles on his back until you earn his in-game weapon (which appears when you fight him a second time when he is teamed with his master in the final fight). His weapon is a striped scarf. It can be used as a whip or can be transformed into a scythe in some combos. Most of his attacks are close-ranged and melee, but he has a teleporting, airborne, and long-ranged combo for those skilled enough to pull them off. He has 20 moves in the original version of the game, half of which can only be accessed when in OMEGA-mode.

Personality: Pydur is vicious and cocky, playful and cynical. Most of his opening phrases in OmegaROOK consist of insults. He is somewhat of a 'pretty boy', his defeat lines often consisting of remarks about the player ruining his hair or marring his perfect face. He is generally pretty upbeat and positive, sure that he will be victorious, but he can be serious and cunning if he feels threatened. He has quite the temper when tested and is not above attacking someone in order to punctuate his disapproval. He is anything but loyal and is easy to sway in one direction or another. He is never sure about where he stands or who he is for or against and will often victimizes himself to garner pity or trust.
