excitable friendly well-meaning

elowyn is very down to earth and straightforward, while also taking time to be dramatic. she's kind of like the mom friend, but a COOL mom friend. she's very into fashion and making pants specifically, but is learning how to do all things with the help of the internet and also a ton of books she brought with her. she loves skating with her best friend lou, exploring the city and meeting new people, and having an all around good time! she can be very cynical and brash when her friends are in trouble, but literally only in that situation. if you try to jab at her personally, she isn't very likely riled up. it's only when her close friends are brought into it. shes much more mellow than lou, but definitely keeps the same energy. also, she does better in school. she speaks english, french, and a little italian. she's trying to learn it just because she very specifically wants to go to italy to go on those funny canal boats. also to go see the buildings before they sink into nothingness. she's open to making new friends, and is very enthused about the thought of being in such a cool environment.

el and lou met in the strangest of circumstance. finding the other after she had been attacked. el was on vacation with her family and they had chosen to go to floripan for a few of these days. Even though it was brief, the two kept in touch through letters after she travelled back home to canada. What a coincidence, she lived in vancouver too! El eventually decided to surprise lou by joining asa on his endeavour to cherryton. she wants to meet these people that the aardvark was always writing about.
