He used to believe in the Tsaritsa, even wanting her plan to succeed, as it didnt Sound too bad.

Before the fatui's grip on the land tightened and the Tsaritsa began to grow powerhungry and meanspirited, he lived his life as a Hunter, who would support the poor people in the small village he called his home.

Often spending days outside in the icy snow, it gave him satisfaction to bring the hunted fowl and meat back to the people, so they could cook and eat it peacefully, not having to worry about their husbands dying outside the peaceful village fence.

Though, one day, when the young hunter returned, he found nothing but ruins and Fatui soilders. Blood tainted the snow red as he watched them clean up after their Commander, whose bloodlust seemed to never end.

His belief in the Tsaritsa seemed to vanish, what Archon would order to kill their own people for obedience. It made him sick to his stomach, tears welled up in his eyes as he saw these people he despised drag the lifeless bodys of friends and family away.

With tears in his eyes he took of running back into the woods, the place he knew so well.  The only place to give him safety and comfort in these times. He knew he'd have to escape, knew he'd have to leave his homeland behind, so he began his journey.

Travelling through Mondstadt, he found nothing that could Keep him in the lively city, he wished to feel the cold air again. When he bought a map at a souvenier shop, he found what would be a perfect place for him, a mountain of ice and snow, just like he was used to.

Upon arriving at the mountain, he felt a little more at home than in the city. He was tired though, the long journey to the promising place had left him exhausted. Still he started his way up the mountain, slaying monsters in his path and eventually found a cave, big enough for him to live in.

Thankfully he's a Good hunter, so he has no issue finding food. And the thick skin against the cold, which he developed on his countless nights in the cool forest, helps him a lot at Keeping warm in his new Home.

Still he cant seem to stop thinking about what he couldve Done to save that village, what he couldve done to save the people in it, and what he couldve done to see his family again. It plagues his thoughts and makes him wish to return. To challenge the Tsaritsa and her Army, though he knows his fate should he ever return to the land ruled by a queen with a frozen heart.
