Yamiel is a kolombian teen, who lives with his brother in a zone in Monterrey, Mexico. They raise chickens and Yamiel sells eggs and meat (sometimes) to the people on his neighborhood. Hi goes to high school and is bullied by other students for his looks and musical taste. Yamiel's brother, Uziel, is member of a gang, who organize illegal rooster fights, to get easy money. Uziel gets involved in a very big debt, owning the leader of the "Gallitos" gang more than 30 000 pesos. Despite loving his brother so much, he tells Yamiel to help him pay, leading to a lot of hardworking and suffering, but always helped by his friend and lover, Aquiles.

Summary
Yamiel is a kolombian teen, who lives with his brother in a zone in Monterrey. They raise chickens and Yamiel sells eggs and meat (sometimes) to the people on his neighborhood. Hi goes to high school and is bullied by other students for his looks and musical taste. He hates a very popular guy, Aquiles, who is (dyed) blonde, light skinned and in a better economic situation than him. "I hate that fresita guy" he says. One day, he hires a sonidero (musical group that plays cumbias on parties) for his brother's birthday. There, he sees Aquiles, sitting on a chair. He then, wanting to provoke him, starts saying bad things about him, and asks what the heel he's doing at his brother's party. Aquiles then, reveals that he's the son of the sonidero owner, fact that leaves Yamiel speechless, and they converse a bit. Yamiel realizes Aquiles is not as bad as he thought, and then, going to the bathroom later, he encounters him again, and Aquiles, after "friendly" insulting him, he dares to kiss him. Yamiel is shocked and beats him.
Aquiles and Yamiel then, develop a friends-enemies relationship, until they realixe they're in love with each other. But not everything is sugar coated, Yamiel's brother, Uziel, is member of a gang, who organize illegal rooster fights, to get easy money. Uziel gets involved in a very big debt, owning the leader of the "Gallitos" gang more than 30 000 pesos. Despite loving his brother so much, he tells Yamiel to help him pay, leading to a lot of hardworking and suffering, but always helped by his lover, Aquiles.
Design
• Yamiel is brown skinned, like cinnamon, he works many hours under the sun at the market!
• Yamiel has very defined bangs (he uses gel to set them), two long hair sections on both sides of his head and one braid on his neck..
• Outfit can vary if desired! Just has to follow the kolombian/cholo style! But costumes for festivities can be added!.
• He only smokes and sometimes drink, doesn't do drugs, so can't be portrayed doing ANY.
• Can be portrayed with his pet, a rooster called "Rocky".
Trivia
• He has many chickens, but his personal pet is a rooster who was a great fighter, called "Rocky". Yamiel loves him very much and takes good care of him, procuring not letting Rocky fight again.
• He's from a place called Kolombia (it's actually located in Monterrey, Mexico, it actualy exists, but lives in a fictional neighbourhood!
• Dances cumbia really good.
• Wants to be a civil engineer, but can't for his lack of money.
• Has a very strong cholo accent and talks in several argot words.
• His favorite musical group is El Gran Silencio and Celso Piña.
• If you're not for MX, take in count that Kolombia is a completely diferent place from the actual Colombia country! Yamiel belongs to a (now extinguished) urban tribe, the kolombians, who used to wear extravagant outfits and dance a popular genre, cumbia "rebajada" or "slowed down cumbia". For examples, check the musical theme on the box above!!! :D.
• His story is heavily inspired by the mexican movie "Amores Perros" (Oscar award winner), the movie "Amarte Duele" and a little bit of cultural aspects from "I'm No Longer Here" (Oscar nominated movie).

Aquiles
His friend, and later beloved boyfriend, he's sacred for him and will do anything to see him happy. They both enjoy listening to Aquiles' father vinyl musical collection. For his sonidero, they have many discs.
