Loveless

Loveless was born from of a race of monsters that are near extinct. His mother is the only other member of their race that he's ever known. Similarly, the forest he was born and raised in is the only home he's ever known. His mother raised him to be cautious of the creatures called humans and stayed with him throughout all of his formative years and into adulthood before she eventually passed away.

With his mother gone, Loveless was became even more reclusive, a rarely seen entity of the forest. The only time he's ever seen by the human inhabitants of the nearby town is when he shows himself to a child who has found themselves lost in the woods. He often feels bad for such children and leads them out of the forest and back to the human town. He's done this for many humans over the course of several generations, so many of the townspeople have begun to regard him as the Forest Spirit who guides their town.
