Fiona's interest in technology began when she received a hand-held videogame for a birthday gift. While other ducklings went outside to play in the St. Canard city parks, she chose to stay indoors and study the intricate lines of computer code that made her new game function. These strings of numbers and variables became an endless fascination and fueled an obsession to become a computer programmer. The more she chose to study and keep her beak between the pages of a book, the less she connected with others her own age and avoided conversations with ducklings that were 'less intelligent' than herself. As her young knowledge grew, so did her prideful behavior.

In highschool, Fiona often bullied other students and lead small gang of delinquent classmates known as the 'Pintails'. Any student that was confrontational with the gang often found their social reputation in ruin; social media accounts stolen, e-mail passwords rewritten, and student bank accounts cleaned out to zero. Each of the gang had a brilliance for stealing and breaking security codes, using their skill for personal gain and competing against one another for bragging rights. Until one night when Percival jokingly challenged Fiona to hack into a criminal database.

And she succeeded.

F.O.W.L recognized that their security had been breached within hours of the incident and sent several agents to track the global location and retrieve the offender. To their shock and confusion, their 'internet mastermind' was nothing more than a young adult with a bellowing ego. Both impressed by this new discovery and furious at the break-in, High Command extended an offer to Fiona to join the criminal organization as one of its youngest agents-- with the promise of open access to new technologies, communication systems, and treasures.

9 years later, Fiona remains an agent of the Fiendish Organization for World Larceny (F.O.W.L) under the alias of 'Hyperlink'. She is a top-ranking agent who reigns control of their criminal networking systems, communications, databases, and security.
