Error is rude and aggressive, stubborn and hateful. He will attempt to kill you for just existing, literally. Error is hell bent on destroying every universe he possibly can. Despite his confidence and intimidating attitude and appearance, Error often finds himself on the loosing end of a battle or massively out numbered. Due to his hatred toward particular people he will throw himself into an dangerous situation for himself just to hit a blow on someone to get back at them. He is vengeful, spiteful and petty. He is the kind of person that if you tell him not to do something he will instantly do it just to bother you. Error is extremely hypocritical and illogical. It is impossible to argue with him because most of what he says makes no sense. His thought process is extremely flawed and impossible to follow. Error recognizes that there is something wrong with him and his world view his flawed however he refuses to change it. If he were to he would have to face the fact that his entire life goal is pointless and everything he has done was wrong and useless. This is a thought that goes through his head sometimes however he does all he can to push it out. He is in denial and he will never get out of it. He will go through phases where he will be less aggressive and less active however it is nothing but a phase and he will always return back to his 'work'. Error often denies that he has feelings in general, especially positive ones. He has a deep rooted hatred for himself and will always describe himself in the most negative way possible. This is also a way for him to keep people away from him, he wants to convince people that they do not want to try to be friends with him. He wants people to be afraid of him and to avoid him. Error will never admit fault in anything that he does nor will he apologize for anything that he does. If something goes wrong he will think of some kind of excuse or blame it on someone else. Error is paranoid and believes that everyone is out to get him. He believes that he cannot allow himself to be happy or to make connections with anyone because it would show weakness and those he would befriend would eventually turn on him. He is afraid of being used, backstabbed and betrayed by people so he keeps his distance. If someone were to become his friend they would need a thick skin, a lot of patience and a whole lot of luck. Even if someone were able to befriend him he is not exactly a very pleasant person to be around and not a very good friend. He will not admit that he actually wants to be around them and will lash out if it is even suggested. He is still rude and insulting however in this case it isn't that he is just being an asshole, more so it is a defense mechanism in order to try to convince himself he is not getting attached to them. Error can get very easily flustered and embarrassed. Sometimes when talking to someone he is starting to feel more comfortable around he will accidentally say something more personal. If they ask him about it he will backpedal real hard. Error has put up a lot of barriers and he is not going to very easily put them down for someone. He is extremely stubborn and once he got it in his head that he will not tell you something he will not tell you no matter how much you push him. Error is known to just get up and walk away in the middle of a conversation with no explanation just because he was done interacting with that person. Error can be surprisingly protective over people that he cares about. He will advice them to not do certain things or go to certain places because he thinks it is dangerous. However his explanation as to why he tells them this will never be because he is worried about him. It will be something like, its stupid to do that or you're just an idiot of you go there. Error will not attack people that he has grown some sort of attachment to, even if they get in his way. If they are blocking him from a target of his he will attempt to push them out of the way or find some way to get them to leave. However he will not harm them. If he cannot get them to move he will eventually retreat but he will have a huge blow on his pride and the person who stopped him will probably not see him for a very long time. When he does return he will act like it didn't happen. Even if a person where to betray him in some way he will still not be able to bring himself to kill them. He will avoid them and will grow a hatred toward them but will never go out to harm them. If he were to attack them he would not be able to finish them off. Error has a habit of not calling people by their name, rather he thinks up some kind of nickname for them. These nicknames are usually insulting in some way. Even though he knows the person's real name he doesn't use it. Sometimes he will slip up and use their real name and when he does he will act like he didn't and deny it. This can happen either when he is really pissed off at someone and is just going off on them or if he is calm and his defenses are starting to drop a bit. So if he calls someone by their real name he either really hates them or actually cares about them in some way. Obviously it is much more likely to happen when he is angry than when he is calm. Error hates physical contact and will do everything he can to avoid it. He has a very large 'personal space bubble', meaning that he does not want people near him at all times. Even if it is someone he does not view as an enemy, although he can be slightly more lenient with it at times with them. If someone were to touch him he would momentarily panic and back away from them, sometimes even reflectively attacking them with some type of projectile. Even in battles he cannot handle being touched. Someone tackling him is his downfall as he will go into a panic from it. He prefers to attack people from a distance because of this. In his free time Error will seek out quiet places where he can be alone. He enjoys crochet but would be extremely embarrassed if anyone found out. He uses his strings to create scarfs but always gets rid of them once he finishes it. Error likes looking at the stars and is interested in astronomy. His preferred place to sit is in trees and he can get very aggressive when people come near the tree. He can be very possessive, especially for particular trees that he favors. |
Error is near sighted and needs to wear glasses however he thinks they make him look like a dork, and he isn't wrong. He will wear them when he is alone but when out and about he refuses to wear them. His eyesight is terrible, especially in his right eye, and cannot see anything far away. Error's main attack is with his strings which he can create with either his hands or pulling them out of his eye sockets. He can use them to tie up enemies and can grab hold of their soul and fling them around. He is also able to take control of another person and force them to attack their allies. However this ability can easily be stopped by breaking the strings attached to the victim's soul. The strings themselves have a very faint blue glow to them that is much more noticeable in the dark. If a string is left behind the glow will become dimmer the farther away it is from Error. Error can also create bone attacks and use gaster blasters. He can teleport and is able to create portals to other AUs. Error's body is very glitchy and visually pixelates constantly. Error sometimes can go temporarily blind when the glitches cover his eyes. There is no way to predict when it will happen and no way to make it go away. He just has to sit and wait for it to go away. Error can also crash, which makes him glitch violently and makes him freeze up. When it passes he will be confused and unsure of where he is and what he was doing. Crashes can cause some memory loss. They are usually caused by stress, fear, surprise and sometimes extreme embarrassment. When angered Error's voice will become very distorted and seem to glitch out. His tone of voice is usually on the deeper side however when it starts to glitch it can switch around to deeper or higher at random. He will repeat syllables in words over and over before being able to finish it. He just will not be able to process the sentence properly and gets stuck on words. I don't write this out because it would be both annoying to write and read. When this happens hE WilL SPeaK LikE THiS. |
